




With Blizzard¡¯s contract with The9 expiring Blizzard signed a three year deal with NetEase to operate World of Warcraft in mainland China. Last summer Blizzard announced a partnership with NetEase to operate StarCraft II, Warcraft III, and Battle.net in mainland China. The decision to grant NetEase the contract appears to be a logical next step. Blizzard explained their decision stating,buy wow gold, ¡°We appreciate the enthusiasm that Chinese gamers have shown us over the years, and we¡¯ve always worked hard, in collaboration with our partners,Blizzard, to ensure that these players receive the same high-quality service and gameplay experiences that we deliver in other regions. This new agreement with NetEase will support that goal for years to come, and we look forward to collaborating with them on a smooth transition for World of Warcraft moving forward.¡±
Last month Blizzard decided to switch operators for their massively multiplayer rpg World of Warcraft from The9 to NetEase. As a replacement for World of Warcraft, there is speculation The9 plans to release a knock off clone of World of Warcraft. The epic new mmo will be called World of Fight.In addition to a nearly identical domain name Kotaku points out the logo and the color scheme are also very similar.
Readers of Kotaku pointed out the picture visible looks very similar to the Chaos Gate, from Mythic¡¯s Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. EA publishes Warhammer Online and they also own shares in The9.
Examples of Chinese companies creating knock offs of popular MMO¡¯s is not without precedent. The Wall Street Journal points out when the South Korean game company Actoz Soft terminated Shanda¡¯s license for game Legend of Mir 2 in 2003, Shanda launched its own game called World of Legend.
I've been hearing alot of BW and CC whine lately. And I'm pretty surprised, every time I come onto the forums i see a minuscule problem that i don't really hear about be completely turned into something gigantic and massive. It's like you guys encourage each other to make a huge deal out of something thats not all that important.
First, lots of BW hate. Well it's pretty obvious none of you have ever PLAYED a BW or Sorc. IF anything they need MORE CC. Put a WE or marauder on 1 and they have almost no chance of survival, you have silence use it! Silence also doesn't have an immunity timer so yes you can have your group chain aoe silence! (happened to my healer more then once!)
Second try taking out the healers/rdps first, not the mdps/tanks. (no tanks really on order side so makes your job even easier as destruction) Next, don't group in 1 spot, i see this alot, even in t4. You're just asking to be aoed down, especially the healers.
Bright Wizards are pretty sad 1o1, they only really shine with the support of a healer, runepriest being the best. But luckily for you almost all of the healers in this game suck and never detaunt or grimnir's shield so you can be sure to take them down with little effort.
Also having a healer yourself helps alot, any cloth healer can outdo a BW's burst damage, in fact my runepriest has solod level 40 sorcs by purely outhealing them, letting them kill themselves and buff dot + rune of battle, the fun part about this is they need the 100% to be able to outdo your healing, so they kill themselves or they are smart enough to usually just try to walk away.
Also you can use your suck in ability while rooted, i see marauders all the time casting their little string spell then hitting silence on a bw to have them try to get far away as possible before they are sucked in and have no means of defending themselves, once their root is down they are done.
If you have a decent healer they will also tend to use cleanse on you, never seen that outside myself but you can always inform them that they have the ability, and it'll save alot more hps than any 1 heal.
Now for the most important part, you're part of a group, if you get killed by 3 BW nuking you, of course you're going to die! it's 3v1! Don't blame their class because of your death, blame your own team for not helping you, this is where guild play comes in. I have tons of fun playing with a competant bunch of gamers, we have the best healers in the server, and very capable tanks/mdps/rdps. We have never lost a scenario even if we just 5 man it, because we know how to play as a group, the dps takes care of us healers, healers keep everyone alive, INCLUDING EACH OTHER, and dps kills everyone...
Honestly for Order WE are what we consider to be broken... but that's just because RDPS and healers tend to hang out in the same general area and WE tend to stealth by melee and 1-3 of us, and we have this WE duo on our server ugh they are absolutely amazing at killing all our healers and sometimes the bws, but that's just the class weakness, WE are cake for other classes so i wouldn't say they need a nerf.
Now for CC, it sucks being rooted. I understand that, but if you're doing your job properly and your rdps is doing theirs, it shouldn't be an inconvenience at best. Your sorcs shouldn't have any problem killing enemy BWs, if your pressing on the bws enough they they do root that just gives your sorc friend more time to kill them when they run for room. Also if you have decent healers you shouldn't die from a BW in the first place especially if he roots for room, also silencing them BEFORE they root woulda been a fantastic idea, you can usually kill them before the silence timer ends and it's pretty rare for the t2 moral to be up to save them.
And it's not like YOU don't have cc too, for the most part CC isn't as popular as you'd think. Usually it's unneeded, you might get an aoe silence here and there, maybe a root from a bw running away amdist chaos, or a healer hitting pushback on first hit from a WE. But those are pretty long timers, unlike in tor anroc where you just pushback people in lava, in most scenarios you actually have to use DAMAGING abilities to kill people, and alot of the CC is preventable, be it through other forms of CC or through abilities, like the t2 moral anti silence (+ double cast speed and no setback, which might i add makes it too amazing to save for when you actually do get silenced) or through anti root abilities.
Well i just woke up and am rambling so i highly doubt that i'll be taken seriously by this post and i expect alot of flame but i'm too stubborn to just delete it and take my morning shower, so enjoy, who knows you might actually learn something, god forbid.
Reason why so phew WEs or Marauders whine about Bright Wizards CC abilities. (At least I haven't seen so many whining)
Hai guys the trick to beating bws is to stick mdps on them!!! How do i get into their back line as mdps??? Dunno loplol
Well just furthers my point of people making a big deal out of nothing, it's not like BW are a godly class and never die, in fact they die ALL the time. It's not like any class is all powerful and can take on every single person by themselves.
also dz, use stealth? nto too sure order even has a front line unlike you guys having a tank is actually super rare...
Well, Marauders have the ''Charge'' ability. Goal is to kill atleast one squishy before you die and after respawn, repeat
This game isn't meant to be balanced around 1v1 combat. Of course on my marauder I can completely destroy a BW, but in large groups they're a huge problem.
That means your actions were a wash. There was no net gain for your side in the battle. You help your team/realm by killing more of the enemy than they kill of yours.
Usually I manage to silence their healers and force them to heal other squishies instead of the tanks holding my allies still.
BW have more abilities to keep Marauders at bay than Marauders have for getting in close. Similar case for WE, but WE at least get stealth (which is more of a luck thing than anything else). Generally speaking, you're going to get knocked down, rooted, snared or knocked back before you ever close in with a BW that's constantly kiting through the whole ordeal... and that's ignoring the other 5-11+ teammates the BW has between you and him. So while you're going through all this effort & enemy interference to kill the BW (and as you say, dying in the process, few are going to deny that's a given), he's murdering you and/or your team with far less difficulty.
Even ignoring all the obstacles in your way, let's assume you did your job, chased him down & tore him a new one. Both of you are dead now. You're potentially out of range/LoS of resurrection, while the BW runs far less risk of the same. BW is back up & fighting shortly, you're hopping on a mount & heading to the battlefield. Which team has the overall advantage?

I take it you've never seen or experienced 3+ witch elves/witch hunters assisting each other in the enemy ranged group. WE/WH is just as devastating when they work together. So are 3+ marauders using their pull, killing one target, next pull, one more dead target. Hell I saw 3 black orcs the other take all using hold the line and with guard on each other, yeah taking them down was impossible.
Hell I came in almost last on damage one game on my BW because two squid herders kept popping me the second I came into range.
Every class can be a huge problem if use *correctly* the problem is 99% of the whiners are just bad.
